Our time on the farm this time was a lot less adventurous than last time, or maybe we’re just used to frogs in the house now, though a frog did jump into Meghna’s hand one morning, nearly causing her heart to stop.


January in India is harvest season for the winter crop, celebrated across almost the entire country. We were lucky enough to witness the preparations for the harvest festival on the farm, with women pounding rice and giving thanks to the sun god and fertile soil for the bounty of the season.

After an intensive week of training our team and setting them on the next round of production, we’re now off for a few days to relax and take in our surroundings, followed by a brief trip to Pushkar in Rajasthan to visit The Stitching Project. Stay tuned!
